Today we were privileged to hear from Jennifer Cooper from the Methodist Home for Children. She shared with us the different programs they provide to teens and families across NC. It is exciting to hear all that they are doing to help stabilize troubled familes.
During her sharing, she showed an art work that hangs across the hall from her desk. It is the hands of one of the teens in their programs. The teen shared that the left hand was where the teen had been, their past. And it had words like trouble, family issues. On the right, the hand represented the teens future. And that hand included Jesus.
