What a wonderful day in Worship. Our Sunday started with a report from the Memorial Association. Their ministry is to make sure our cemetery is well taken care of. They shared beautiful flowers for the church today. We remembered Donald Ray Teague, born 1/7/1951 and died 3/24/2025. We also remembered Ruby Tyndall Mote, born 5/23/1941…

Today we welcomed Rodney Cheek, our new Music Director. He brings with him his family, Andrea, his wife, Pearl, his oldest daughter, and Ruth, his youngest daughter. We welcome them all to our fellowship and pray blessings on their ministry with us. Rodney has asked the congregation to tell him what their favorite hymns are.…

Christ is Risen! What a wonderful day of Worship. The Church Sanctuary was adorned with lilies and the cross was draped with white. Our Choir presented a powerful gift of music, Our God Reigns! The music was uplifting and narration by Milton was perfect. Following Worship, we had a butterfly release, reminding us that we…

Today we say goodbye to Carolee. She came to Sapling Ridge about 23 years ago to fill in as a temporary pianist. She was the pianist at 7th Day Adventist in Pittsboro, so she was available to play for us on Sundays. She fell in love with the church and the people and just stayed.…

During the opening hymn, people brought their palms to the altar. It was a great Sunday, filled with great music and a great sermon by Pastor…

We had a great treat in Worship on Sunday. Pastor Jadon and Kelsi joined us and Jadon preached in the pulpit for the first time. We got a foretaste of what we will enjoy each Sunday, starting 6/14/2026. Not only does he have a great singing voice but he shares the Word Of God in…
ACTS (All Christians Together Serving) is reorganizing and has published a calendar of events. Mark your calendars for either/both the Worship and Dinner events or the Outside Worship events. All are free and we are encouraged to bring friends.
We are Easter people and our Choir will present an Easter Cantata on Easter Sunday, 4/5/2026, 11am. Join us as we remember God’s gift to us through Jesus’ death, burial and resurrection.

Today is Ash Wednesday. Today we begin a journey with Christ as He prepares for His journey to the cross. Some people use Lent to give up something. Maybe chocolate or coffee or a certain TV show. That works! When you are craving whatever it is that you gave up, you can pray for strength…
We have had so many great speakers over the past seven months. We have been challenged to grow our faith. This past Sunday we had a special Worship time. Bobby Marsh shared his story and his talent with a gospel music worship time. His music and sharing was wonderful.
