We had a wonderful opportunity to learn first hand from a Jewish Missionary. David Liebman, from Jews for Jesus, came and shared with us about the initial Passover when the Children of Israel left slavery in Egypt. We had an interactive dinner as he shared what the foods meant and how the initial Passover pointed to Christ as the Lamb who takes away the sins of the world.
David is serving as a missionary to Jewish communities in NYC. He shared how difficult it is to have someone who is Orthodox Jew to leave their faith. When they do, they lose their family, their job and everything in their lives. Jews for Jesus assists those who do choose to accept Jesus as Messiah in concrete ways. David asked us to be in prayer for their work.
