Each year the Silk Hope Charge Men’s Group roast Boston Butts. Some are cooked for families to purchase and most are given to needy families. This year the men cooked around 90 Boston Butts and around 65 of those were going to families in our community that needed some help. We appreciate the men leading this event each year.
And in the evening of the cooking event, the men also roast a variety of meats to share with a fellowship meal for the church. People brought sides, desserts and drinks. We had roasted pork, turkey and brisket. What a feast!!
