The Christmas Eve service was a special time. There was reading of nine lessons of Scripture followed by Christmas Hymns. Then after the final reading of John 1, the Advent Candles were extinguished and the Christ Candle was lit.
From there, the Light of the Christ Candle was shared with the congregation as we sang Silent Night. What a holy moment. It was truly a time to remember that Jesus is the Light of the World and we celebrate His birth.
